Mosquera: "We will have to be at our best against Arosa SC"

The Valencia CF defender Cristhian Mosquera has assessed the cup draw in the second round of the Copa del Rey 23-24 against Arosa SC. The tie will be played on  December 5th, 6th or 7th over a single leg at the Estadio Municipal A Lomba in Galicia.

"It's an opposition that we know is not going to be an easy tie at their stadium. We have to go with the utmost humility to play our game and not be complacent.

These types of teams are going all out for the cup, it's one of their best games of the season, and we have to go there in the same way, to stick to the game plan. We have to play like we did against UD Logroñés, where we had a solid performance".

"We were all together. Because of the proximity in terms of travelling, we preferred to face Atzeneta UE because it will be a week of numerous trips".

"It's not like in LaLiga. The cup is played over a single leg and you can bow out of it. Besides, my first team debut took place against Atletico Baleares. It was an unforgettable cup run because of the experiences we had. We had a great run and why not this year as well.

"It's important for us to recover over this upcoming international break to recover and the Copa del Rey gives you the opportunity for more players to get more minutes under their belts. It's also good for everyone to stay focused and be ready to play at any time".

"This international break helps us to clear our minds and we want to have our best performance against RC Celta Vigo. These days we are correcting mistakes so that a defeat like the one at the Santiago Bernabeu doesn't happen again and we are already focused on getting the three points in front of our fans at Mestalla".

"I'm feeling good, I'm happy and it's time to keep working. I like to watch the replay of the games to keep learning. Baraja has given me confidence right from the start and I'm trying to repay him on the pitch".
